How Reiki by Emma uses your information

Last updated 14 October 2026

When you book with Reiki by Emma, they're responsible for your information (the “controller”). This notice explains what they collect, why, and your rights. To ask about your information, phone 07544 811290.

What's collected

  • Your name, mobile number and email address.
  • What you booked, when, and any notes or answers you give on the booking form.

Health information

Reiki by Emma asks about your health so your appointment is safe and suitable for you. Health information is especially sensitive, so it's only collected when you tick the box to agree, and it's only used for your appointments. You can withdraw your agreement at any time by contacting Reiki by Emma; they'll then delete what you told them.

Why it's used

  • To arrange and carry out your booking, and contact you about it (confirmations, reminders, changes). This is needed to provide what you booked.
  • To keep business and tax records, which the law requires.

You won't get marketing emails, and your information is never sold.

Who else handles it

Reiki by Emma uses these services, which only use your information to provide their service:

  • Gallus, the booking system, run by Rutherford Studio. How Gallus handles data.
  • Cloudflare (website hosting and spam protection), Neon (database, in London) and Resend (emails).

Some of these companies may handle data outside the UK. When they do, they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law.

How long it's kept

Booking records are kept for as long as Reiki by Emma needs them for their business records, usually up to 6 years for tax. You can ask for your information to be deleted sooner unless they must keep it by law.

Your rights

You can ask Reiki by Emma for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. If you're unhappy with how your information is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.

Cookies

The booking pages don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser briefly remembers your choices while you book, and Cloudflare runs a spam check that may set a cookie to tell people from bots.
